Hello and how are you?

How is everyone? It's such a strange time and huge adjustment for everyone, I'm sure we all have struggled in one way or another.

But underneath the vast change in lifestyle, I've started to see things feel thankful for. I'm grateful for so much and this time has given me a chance to really connect with all the wonderful things around that we usually take for granted.

That feeling of gratitude sits next to my feelings of uncertainty, leading me, and probably the rest of the population too, to much reflection on our lives, our businesses and our dependence on each other. I give thanks daily to those out there on the front line, the true heroes in our dark days.

I'm praying that everyone in hospital recovers, that the NHS shows the rest of the world just what a formidable service it is.

It's been hard being part of an industry that usually celebrates joy. The sadness and disappointment of couples postponing their weddings until later in the year or next year is clear, but we are safe in the knowledge that come that time, we will all have so much more to celebrate!

Like most, having the kids at home, and not for a holiday, has been a challenge! We are slowly getting into a crazy routine and appreciating all the things we never had time for before...like taking Daddy for a walk!

Has anyone else taken time to spring clean the house? I was fully committed to a total clean...but I'm slowly losing interest now ha ha…

I've taken time to spring clean my files too, and in doing so, I have come across so many wonderful shoots, that have reminded me of such happy times. I've decided to share some of these with you, so you too can share these moments of happiness.

Hopefully I will bring a smile or two to some people and a bit of prettiness to isolation.

So here's my first to share with you.

This is the first shoot I came across on my spring clean, and what a wonderful shoot this was! I love cake smashes and I loved all the ideas for this shoot. How cute does Teddy look?

I really hope you are doing ok,

Stay safe,

Lisa
